Thermotech has three factories of with a built up area of 50,000, 35,000, and 8000q ft. All factories have overhead cranes, concrete tremix flooring.
Our most recent factory at Chakan has an open area of 45,000 sq ft along with a covered factory area of 50,000. The covered workshop area has a roof height of 11 mtrs, and EOT of 20Tonnes.
The state of the art machinery at the factory include-

Powered by a Kjellberg source and housed in Messer gantry, this machine can cut Stainless steel up to 36mm thick. The superior finish, which is a result of using XX gas, results in a cut without slag. This superior cut eliminates the need to grind the material post cutting.
The ability to transfer marking on to every piece that is cut, aids material traceability until the very end.
Use of this edge-beveling machine (Gullco make) eliminates grinding to prepare the edge prior to welding. The edge thus prepared is uniform in terms of angle of weld, root gap, and root face. Such a uniform weld joint lends itself to excellent weld quality, as is apparent from the accompanying photo.
With a 4-roll system, this machine can pre bend plates, and roll them in one pass. Prebending ensures no flatness, eliminating the need for re rolling of shell. Eliminating re-rolling, reduces woe-hardening in stainless steel, which ensures that stainless steel retains its chemical and physical properties.

WE have mechanical engineering expertise for the design, independent design verification, analysis, re-rating, fitness for service assessments, and fabrication specifications of pressure vessels. High standards are maintained and supported by a ISO 9001:2000 (TUV Austria) certified Quality System.
With associations with some of the leading engineering design firms, and our in house engineering team we offer complete Piping, FEA, ansys, stress analysis, and structural design for your Skids.

Quality Control Systems

Thermotech and quality are synonymous. We take great care at every stage of the manufacturing process, from material procurement, till painting and dispatch. All the incoming material is first tested by PMI, all shafts are ultrasonically tested. The best quality of filler wire is used to ensure strong and proper welds. Finishing, polishing and buffing are done with abrasive media which are free from Iron content. Roughness is measured by state of the art Mitutoyo Ra Meter.
